Guns N Roses put on an amazing show- no complaints there... Sound at this venue was very good... Could hear Axl whispering "Alone" in "Estranged"! I usually love concerts here because it is outside and not a monster arena like the Linc. That being said, I don't think I've been here for a crowd this large... I waited in line for a drink easily for 1 hour. I thought the line would be better halfway through the show, which it was, but still about 20 minutes. Actually, now that I think about this, I just gave another star because this wait may have prevented a hangover! We waited about a half hour before departing after the show, not too bad getting out.
Show and stadium were awesome. Getting in was very easy. As long as you don't buy any concessions or have to go to the bathroom you will be fine. Lines over an hour long!!! A few beer carts would of made them a lot of money and shortened up the lines a lot. Parking was in a field across the street. We left early and watched paradise city from walkway due to hearing the nightmare stories leaving that lot. Got in truck and was out in 5 minutes @ 10:45. I heard people were stuck there til 2am!!!
I went to see Guns N Roses there with a couple of friends.. They only had one beer tent and it took an hour to get a drink. The line was around the stadium. Also, my friend and I went to use the bathroom during the encore, not knowing that the bathrooms were technically considered out of the stadium walkway as these were the bathrooms people used all night, the security would not let us back in. People were just running back into the venue and they were giving us a hard time. I told them that my friends were still in there. They were acting all tough to two girls who just wanted to get their things, watch the rest of the show and to reconnect with their friends. I paid a lot of money to see this show and traveled over three hours. I should have been able to have seen it until the end. I will never go back there.
it's not a bad venue, for you people complaining about traffic, think you can do a better job? put on a vest and show them how it's done! when you have a lot of people do you really think it's going to be that simple to leave? like i said put on a vest and show them how it's should be done then.
The parking is atrocious because the amusement parks lets out the same time as the concerts, and everyone parks in the same miles long lot. Know that BEFORE you go. They have big name acts in a football stadium, and yes, sometimes the best seats are up off the field. You'd be foolish to think otherwise. Shows are rain or shine, and that includes being outside in 90+ degree heat if it is that hot that day. It's Pennsylvania, act accordingly where weather is concerned. They could use more vendors (Zac Brown brings in his own, which is cool, and about the same price with some of the proceeds going to his charity organization). The restrooms are hot and stinky, like most concert venues. Do your business in there, and get out, like every other concert arena bathroom. Overall, not bad, just be prepared that it'll take you hours to get home after the show. Skip the encore for a head start if you're that worried about work the next day. Lastly, now that they've added metal detectors on the way in, it'll take you a long time in line to get into the stadium, prepare for that as well. Good Luck! Good concerts!
