Might have just been my experience. Everyone was nice and they seem to have a lot of repeat business but based on what happened yesterday I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Don't quote me but I think that's the girls name who did my hair. Short and tiny best describes her. From out of town and wanted to get my hair highlighted and trimmed. She gets the one star for color but I asked for a trim of 1/2 inch to 1 inch to clean it up. The back of my hair looks like a child cut my hair. I came home with only half of my hair I went in with. I'm so angry that someone that has no idea how to cut hair can do this to someone.
I was so happy to get in and have my hair cut the same day i called but very un happy in the end. I had this lady name Mary cut my hair.I showed her a picture how I wanted my hair to look she agreed it look nice and it would look nice on me but in the end she cut and styled it the way she wanted and then says all done . I said what, thats not what my picture looks like she says you don't like your hair with all that volume? I say it not the volume its the mess you made of it, she says you look good I dont understand then she flattened it down a little and then says hows that, I still didnt like and I told it still doesn't look like my picture, and she says I know but it looks better then that picture, it is more up to date style and volume. I went around with her 4 times about before i gave up and paid the bill deciding it was my cut but only shorter and teased up mess that i will see if i can get use to this style cause it looks good on me but still nothing like the picture. But as the day went on, the more I Iooked in the mirror the more i decide I wont be back. Not because it look bad but because my hair was cut and styled the way she wanted it, Not the way I wanted it to look.
Walked in got a great cut in minutes.
Went in to get a hair cut and showed the stylist a photo of an angled bob with layers. I specifically told her I did not want them stacked. First she tried to do a straight cut with an almost vertical line, no angle forward. I spoke up and she managed to "fix it" but it's way way shorter than I wanted it by nearly 2 inches, including the front. I wanted the cut beneath my chin and it it barely reaches my jaw. I can't stand the way it is layered in the back, it looks awful to me and a lot like stacking instead of the blended layers I asked for. She ignored the referenced photo and did what she thought would looked good which is terrible customer service! I'm going to have to grow it out and get it fixed somewhere else. It's actually sad because what I wanted was simple. Instead I look like a bird because of the fringe like cut. AWFUL. She also razored my hair (without asking). This is a horrible practice that gives you split ends that fray 20x faster than normal. Razoring gave me additional short layers and added volume THAT I DID NOT WANT.
Getting a haircut is sometime a hit or miss depending at where you are going. Going to a place like Holiday Hair here is a much better experience after the staff gets to know you. If you need a quick cut, this is the place to go. Ask for Denise!
