Great local market. Nice people. Great option to the big chains.
It's one of two stores in the area where you can get fresh meat. (If there are others, I don't know about them) Their meat isn't packaged in a warehouse somewhere they do it right there on site so it's fresh and their prices are not much different than the pre-packed stuff. A lot of times theirs is even lower! Also they have a great variety of produce, including locally grown, very friendly employees, decent deals and a state store to complete your shopping.
Was never in hershey store, yet, but will be shopping there soon after visiting harrisburg store. We were very impressed with the products purchased and The employees were very friendly and patient. The meat department was very impressive. So many meats to choose from and you could see everything was fresh. It made us feel like we were inside ,long gone now, farmers market we remember from years ago. We hope someday they'll be in lebanon country so we won't have so far to travel to shop at one of the best stores we've been in,in years. Also, if you like baked goods, there's are really the best for tastes like homemade and fresh.
Nice Store, clean, with wide aisles and a GREAT selection of products, deli and hit food items.
Best butcher shop and meat prices around! We buy or meat from karn's ONLY. The store is dated, but don't let the looks fool you. Or biggest complaint is some of their staff. On this visit our butcher shop clerk was an ass. He tried to rush us, and mentioned he was soon done with his shift. He didn't have his name tag visible... The cashier tonight (Willy) was beyond rude, also having shift issues...
